Another snowy day

Cradle Cardigan by Hannah Fettig
We woke up this morning to another 2-ish inches of snow.  So what's a momma with a free day to so with herself?  Well, I would usually fill this time with a few crappy horror movies, while I continue to knit baby sweaters like I was expecting one or something (which I most certainly am not).  It's just a new obsession.  I've also been reading like crazy since I got my Kindle.  I just finished two Charlaine Harris books and The Hunger Games this past week.

I am also in a lot of pain from my intermittent attendance at physical therapy.  Our schedules have become so tight that I'm lucky if I can get in there once every week and a half when I should be going twice a week.  Plus my allergies kicked in the door with a fury this week and my throat has been a mess.  With all this fun going on and Alex's sensory disorder kicking in to high gear, there just hasn't been any desire to do much which leads me back to today.

Today is my last day of freedom before I start my next class: Statistics.  Fun.  So to make the most of the day I think I'll listen to Pandora and eat a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast and clean the bathroom and bake a cake.  There, that settles it.

In knitting news, I've sent out a few design submissions and now I get to stalk my email inbox to wait for replies.  I've also picked up a few samples to knit for a new designer (not new, just new to working with me) so that will keep me busy for a little while.  I'm still working on a few designs of my own and I've had several fun ideas that I need to get down in the sketch book before I lose them.  I'm also trying to keep up with some non-secret knitting so that I'll have a little something to show off from time to time.  I know it can get pretty dull when there's noting to see for an extended period of time.  Although be warned...it's all likely to be baby sweaters and socks for a while as I've advanced to the next round of Sock Madness 7.  Oh man.  How am I going to keep up with SM7 when I'm doing math homework and knitting samples?!  Stay tuned!
