Thar she blows! aka Sock Madness round 2

Round 2 of SM7 set sail yesterday with a pattern called Flying Dutchman.  This little gem uses intarsia in-the-round, which I've always wanted to try.  I don't know how the designer managed to wrangle this one.  She wrote it out line-by-line for both sizes!  It's easy to follow and I love that she provided advice on how to orient the stitches, making it easier to follow the written instructions.  I've been using my row counter to help me remember which line of instructions I'm on.

I've been assigned to Team Yarnslayer.  It sounds pretty fearsome in my humble opinion, lol.  Apparently this is where things get cut throat.  I'm competing against my fellow teammates for a berth in the next round.  The first 33 finishers will move on.  I have no idea if I'll survive this round, or if I can keep up this speed for very long considering I've started my math class and I have quite a bit of homework.  And speaking of homework, I'm going to get back to it.

Oh!  Before I go, the navy yarn (I know it looks black in the photo) is Boundless Sock in Nightshade from Play at Life Fiber Arts, and the cream is OnLine Linie Supersocke Silk.  That Boundless Sock is my favorite base yarn and don't be surprised if you see more projects from Chrystee's yarns in the near future, cause I have a ton of it!
