I've never had my makeup professionally done before and I learned two things. First, in order for makeup to look regular on film, you need to look like a floozie in real life, lol. Second, it takes a heck of a long time to do a smoky eye so any makeup kit that says you can simply sweep it on is lying! I lost count of how many layers of shadow she put on to get this look. And boy, have I been putting my makeup on wrong all these years. I guess that's what happens when you grow up a tomboy and can't be bothered to take the extra time in the mornings. I'm lucky to do my hair most mornings.
In less fun events, I had to have a tooth extracted today so I can't talk much. It's always at these times when you feel the uncontrollable urge to get someone on the phone, lol. School starts again tomorrow, but my classes are online and my fingers work so I'm good. So between now and when my text book arrives, I'll be finishing a sample knit and sleeping off some very good painkillers.
