I've been assigned to Team Yarnslayer. It sounds pretty fearsome in my humble opinion, lol. Apparently this is where things get cut throat. I'm competing against my fellow teammates for a berth in the next round. The first 33 finishers will move on. I have no idea if I'll survive this round, or if I can keep up this speed for very long considering I've started my math class and I have quite a bit of homework. And speaking of homework, I'm going to get back to it.
Oh! Before I go, the navy yarn (I know it looks black in the photo) is Boundless Sock in Nightshade from Play at Life Fiber Arts, and the cream is OnLine Linie Supersocke Silk. That Boundless Sock is my favorite base yarn and don't be surprised if you see more projects from Chrystee's yarns in the near future, cause I have a ton of it!

I am also in a lot of pain from my intermittent attendance at physical therapy. Our schedules have become so tight that I'm lucky if I can get in there once every week and a half when I should be going twice a week. Plus my allergies kicked in the door with a fury this week and my throat has been a mess. With all this fun going on and Alex's sensory disorder kicking in to high gear, there just hasn't been any desire to do much which leads me back to today.
Today is my last day of freedom before I start my next class: Statistics. Fun. So to make the most of the day I think I'll listen to Pandora and eat a grilled cheese sandwich for breakfast and clean the bathroom and bake a cake. There, that settles it.
In knitting news, I've sent out a few design submissions and now I get to stalk my email inbox to wait for replies. I've also picked up a few samples to knit for a new designer (not new, just new to working with me) so that will keep me busy for a little while. I'm still working on a few designs of my own and I've had several fun ideas that I need to get down in the sketch book before I lose them. I'm also trying to keep up with some non-secret knitting so that I'll have a little something to show off from time to time. I know it can get pretty dull when there's noting to see for an extended period of time. Although be warned...it's all likely to be baby sweaters and socks for a while as I've advanced to the next round of Sock Madness 7. Oh man. How am I going to keep up with SM7 when I'm doing math homework and knitting samples?! Stay tuned!
